Aliyev spoke with Jens Stoltenberg

On February 15, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that during the conversation, the NATO Secretary-General thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his visit to NATO in December last year and his speech at the North Atlantic Council, NATO's highest body.

The President thanked me for the invitation and hospitality.

During the telephone conversation, they expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-NATO relations, exchanged views on the post-conflict situation in the South Caucasus region, the ongoing processes around Ukraine and the current situation in the world energy market.

The NATO Secretary-General thanked Azerbaijan for making Europe a reliable gas supplier and increasing gas exports.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan will continue to be a reliable partner as an important exporter of energy products.
