President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende.

Axar.az reports that President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende noted with satisfaction that during his visit to our country they will take part in the opening of the Azerbaijan Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network of the World Economic Forum.

He stressed the importance of the country's economic success in all areas, noting the importance of the Azerbaijani economy becoming an important factor in the region.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Economic Forum. The President said that there were good opportunities for further development of relations between the World Economic Forum and our country.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of our cooperation and issues of mutual interest.

Borge Brende conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev the invitation of the Forum's founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab to attend the next meeting of the World Economic Forum.
