First meeting of the border commission with Yerevan held

The first meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mger Grigoryan in the format of the Commission on Delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border on May 24, 2022 within the implementation of the agreements reached and on the basis of relevant decrees of the two countries held.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to work within the Commission on delimitation and other issues.

Organizational and procedural issues of the joint activity of the commission were discussed.

The parties agreed on the expediency of holding the next meetings of the Commission in different places, as well as meetings at the interstate border. Thus, it was agreed to hold the second meeting in Moscow and the third in Brussels.
