President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the Independence Day of Azerbaijan, and I wish your country progress and the well-being of your people.

I am confident that we will continue the dialogue at all levels in the coming months, and your visit to the Republic of Serbia will be of special importance for the development of our bilateral cooperation. Given that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, your visit will be extremely important in this regard.
