Statement of Zangazur Corridor from Yerevan

The working group of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on the opening of regional communications was able to bring together the positions of Yerevan and Baku, especially on border and customs control.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.

"I consider the activities of the trilateral working group on the opening of transport links in the South Caucasus constructive. "This is certainly a difficult task, but I must say that the parties have been able to bring closer the positions on many border and customs controls, as well as the safe passage of citizens, vehicles, and cargo by road and rail from Armenia and Azerbaijan," Grigoryan said.

According to him, the expert subgroups are currently working on the restoration and use of road and railway infrastructure.
