The first bridge to connect East Zangezur and Nakhchivan

The construction of the first bridge connecting East Zangezur and Nakhchivan will start soon.

Axar.az reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Huseyn Amir Abdullahian.

According to the minister, the technical parameters of the first bridge have already been agreed and construction works will start soon:

"We also welcome Iran's constructive position on participation and cooperation within regional formats, including the "3+3" mechanism. In the near future, the next meeting within the framework of the "3+3" mechanism will be hosted by Iran," said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
