As it is known, Azerbaijan raised interstate claims against Armenia in the International Court of Justice of the UN on International Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) in September of last year. On the basis of applications by Azerbaijan, the Court adopted decisions on temporary measures against Armenia on December 7, 2021.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated this on its new appeal to the International Court of Justice on the 1965 International Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

"Thus, the Court has instructed Armenia to take all necessary measures for prevention of promotion and aggravation of racial enmity on the ground of speech of hatred in the territory of Armenia including organizations and individuals against Azerbaijani citizens, and persons of Azerbaijani origin, as well as avoid actions which can aggravate or prolong the conflict, make its solution difficult. Reason for Court's adoption of such a decision was proofs and evidence presented by Azerbaijan on not bringing persons and ethnic-nationalist groups (usually, VOMA, POGA, etc.), who were revanchist, made a speech of hatred and violent urges against Azerbaijanis to responsibility by Armenia, promoting of their activities by Armenian public bodies in many cases, awarding organization activists.

Despite such decisions of the Court, Armenia continued to violate its obligations grossly in 2022, did not take any step in the territory of country against revanchist, speeches of hatred and violent urges against Azerbaijanis, militarized illegal groups continued their activities against Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis. It is enough to say that the main motto sounded in Armenia against Azerbaijanis during internal clashes has been "Armenia without Turkish".

At the same time, before the city of Lachin, the villages of Zabukh and Sus of the region came under the full control of Azerbaijan, the Armenians who illegally settled there during the occupation showed their ethnic hatred against the Azerbaijanis by burning the houses belonging to the Azerbaijanis and destroying the forests. To date, the Armenian government has not taken any practical measures to prevent these cases or bring the relevant persons to responsibility for the committed crimes," noted in the Ministry statement.
