Azerbaijan and Israel have exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the field of border protection.

Axar.az reports citing the press centre of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.

The discussion took place on February 1 during a telephone conversation between the head of Azerbaijan’s State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant.

Thus, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev congratulated Galant on taking office.

Emphasizing the high level of existing ties between the two countries, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exchanged views on the development of relations in the field of security and border protection.
