Mrs.Laura Lockman, the adviser to the US Deputy Secretary of State for Energy Diplomacy, expressed the condolences of the US for the death of an Azerbaijani citizen as a result of the terrorist incident against the embassy in Tehran.

Axar.az reports that the condolences were delivered when President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the representative of the US Secretary of State.

It should be recalled that on January 27, at around 8:30 am Baku time, there was a terrorist attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran. A person armed with a "Kalashnikov" assault rifle broke into a security post, killed the head of the security service, Orkhan Asgarov, and injured two others.
