Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed the Order on awarding the persons who participated in the prevention of the terrorist act committed against the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Axar.az reports that in accordance with the Order, On January 27, 2023, the following persons should be awarded for their brave and determined actions while performing their duty under conditions of real danger to life and health during the prevention of the terrorist act committed against the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran:

With 1st-degree "Rashadat" order

Tagiyev Vasif Natig oglu

With the medal "For the sake of Motherland"

Asgarov Orkhan Rizvan oglu (after his death)

Imanov Mahir Kamil oglu.
