Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev expressed his condolences regarding the strong earthquake that occurred in Turkiye on the morning of February 6.

Axar.az reports that H. Hajiyev's Twitter post says:

"May God have mercy on those who perished! May God give patience!"

It should be noted that on the morning of February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in Turkiye. As a result, 1,498 people died, 8,533 people were injured, and 2,824 buildings were destroyed.
