President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani about the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has pointed out that the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is currently being implemented in two directions.

In this regard, the head of our state emphasized that Azerbaijan has made proposals to organize meetings in Baku in the direction of direct contacts with Armenian residents from the Karabakh economic region, and said that a special representative has been appointed by Azerbaijan in this regard, and that they have been invited to Baku for the purpose of discussing both reintegration and various infrastructure projects. said.

At the same time, President Ilham Aliyev drew attention to the fact that negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on a peace treaty and normalization of relations are being conducted on a bilateral basis.
