Peskov's reaction to the arrest of Russian scientists

There is no tendency to arrest scientists for treason, and special services perform their functions.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

"Here I would not draw conclusions about any trend. Our special services perform their functions, protect state secrets and monitor the situation suspected of treason," he said.

It should be noted that 3 scientists of Russia's Novosibirsk Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics who are involved in the creation of hypersonic flying machines - Doctor of Technical Sciences, senior researcher, Valery Zvyagintsev, who founded the high-speed aero gas dynamics laboratory at the institute, senior researcher Anatoly Maslov, and the director of the institute, Alexander Shiplyuk, to the state They were arrested on charges of treason. They face life imprisonment.

Scientists are accused of passing information on hypersonic technologies to China.
