Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba during his business trip to the United Kingdom.
Axar.az was told by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan that the current issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, the situation in Ukraine, and post-conflict efforts in our region were discussed at the meeting.
J. Bayramov, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, during the past years, the two countries have had various political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, etc. said that important achievements have been made in the direction of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the fields. It was stated that Azerbaijan, which has always supported Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, will continue its humanitarian assistance in connection with the crisis around Ukraine.
Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other party in detail about the current situation in the region, the peace and construction efforts of Azerbaijan in the post-conflict period, the steps taken towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the current challenges.
Dmitri Kuleba spoke with satisfaction about the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and emphasized the role of intensive contacts between the leaders of the two countries in this direction. Azerbaijan's humanitarian assistance to Ukraine was noted with satisfaction and gratitude.
At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
