The US State Department has called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to start negotiations and increase the flow of humanitarian aid along the Lachin "corridor" and the Aghdam road, which are the main routes for the delivery of goods to Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement released by the US State Department on behalf of Blinken.

"We welcome the simultaneous shipment of humanitarian cargoes to Karabakh through the Lachin Corridor and Aghdam Highway, which we recently discussed with President Aliyev. Delivering needed supplies is an important step forward, and we encourage the parties to engage in direct negotiations and focus on ways to increase the flow of humanitarian aid to the people of the region. The United States is committed to supporting the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to resolve long-standing problems and achieve a decent and lasting peace," the statement said.
