On September 19, there was a telephone conversation between the First Deputy Minister of Defense - the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkiye, Army General Metin Gurak.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Defense released information about this.

During the phone conversation, local anti-terrorist measures conducted in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan were discussed.

It was especially emphasized that the sister country Turkiye stands by Azerbaijan today as always.
