Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Nakhchivan on September 25 at the invitation of his ally Ilham Aliyev.

After the weakening of the influence of the "Nakhchivan clan" in the internal political processes in Azerbaijan, the importance of Nakhchivan as the main symbol of statehood has significantly decreased. However, the idea of removing the barriers between the exclave and the "core" of Azerbaijan, on the contrary, is becoming more and more popular.
