People living in the Karabakh region are citizens of Azerbaijan, regardless of their nationality.

Axar.az reports that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this in a press statement with the President of Turkiye1605 Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 25.

The head of our state said that their safety, security and rights will be ensured by the state of Azerbaijan.
