We want peace and stability in the Caucasus

After September 20, the time has come for our representatives to sit down and work on the draft peace agreement. On September 20, we have already restored our sovereignty. After that, it will be easier to sign a peace agreement soon.

Axar.az reports that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, expressed these views during his speech at the opening ceremony of the 2nd National Urban Planning Forum on "Sustainable cities as a driving force of economic development and fighting inequalities" held in Zangilan on September 29.

At the same time, emphasizing the importance of actively working on border delimitation and putting an end to this long-lasting conflict, the head of state noted: "We want peace in Azerbaijan. What you saw today in Zangilan proves that we want peace, we want to restore these territories, and we want to return our compatriots to their homeland. We want peace and stability in the Caucasus. It is possible and the choice is Armenia's."
