I hope that the meeting of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, France and the EU on October 5 in Granada will be a step forward in the settlement.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan.

"Armenia strongly supports the peace approach agreed by Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev and formulated by the head of the European Council, Charles Michel. Armenia remains committed to the long-term peace agenda in the region and declared that Yerevan welcomes the opening of communications based on mutual respect for territorial integrity and jurisdiction," Simonyan said.
