The meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan is not certain

The head of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, is still trying to organize a meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia within the framework of the summit of the European Political Union to be held in Granada, Spain on October 5.

Axar.az reports that a high-ranking representative of the EU told journalists in Brussels.

"Now it is too early to talk about the meeting. It will be clear by tomorrow evening," the diplomat said in response to journalists' questions.

According to the diplomat, the EU wants to organize a meeting in a "2+3" format with the participation of Armenia, Azerbaijan, as well as France, Germany, and the Council of Europe in order to achieve progress in the normalization of Baku-Yerevan relations.
