On December 1, the opening ceremony of the World Climate Action Summit organized within the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP28 - is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Axar.az reports that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is participating in the event.

President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres welcomed the head of our state.
