The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan commented on the latest military provocation committed by Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the comment states:

"On February 12, as a result of another military provocation by the Armed Forces of Armenia, a military serviceman of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan was injured. This provocation by Armenia is a serious blow to the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In an environment where stability has prevailed for the past 4-5 months, such provocative actions by Armenia contradict the declared messages of peace.

At the same time, the fact that such a provocation took place in an area monitored by the European Union Mission in Armenia raises serious questions about the goals and objectives of this mission.

The military and political leadership of Armenia is responsible for such provocations against Azerbaijan."
