Czech citizen detained at the border with Azerbaijan

The head of the mission of the European Union in Armenia, Markus Ritter, said that the Czech citizen detained at the border with Azerbaijan is not an employee of the mission.

Axar.az reports that Ritter said this in his statement to the Armenian media.

It should be noted that on February 3, a Czech citizen who illegally crossed the border from Armenia was detained in Azerbaijan. he crossed the mined zone on the Armenian side and entered the territory of Azerbaijan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic confirmed that the citizen of the country was detained while trying to cross from Armenia to Azerbaijan.
