Toivo Klaar, the special representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus, thinks that the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations will not take long.

Axar.az reports that he said this in an interview with "Azututyan" radio.

According to him, there may be several reasons for not reaching a peace agreement quickly:

"But according to the information I have, the processes are going in different directions, so that if there is political will, it will not take much time to reach an acceptable result. We want to work together with Baku and Yerevan for this," he said.

The diplomat pointed out that the EU supports the normalization process in the region.
