Azerbaijan secured peace through war. I believe that this should be properly considered.

Axar.az reports that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, expressed this opinion in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum on "Dialogue for peace and global security", which started in Baku on May 1.

Recalling that international organizations have adopted resolutions and decisions on ending the occupation of Armenia, the head of the state said:

"Those who adopted the resolutions did nothing to implement them. Then we had to achieve peace through war. In 2020, we liberated most of our territories as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War. In September, we fully restored our territorial integrity and sovereignty."
