On May 14, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko.
Axar.az reports that the importance of the state visit of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan was noted at the meeting, and confidence was expressed that the visit will give a new impetus to the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
During the discussions, the importance of the 14th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Trade and economic cooperation commission, which will be held in Minsk in June of this year, was also emphasized.
At the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with developing relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus in various fields and discussed prospects for future cooperation in fields of mutual interest.
