The European Union (EU) delegation in Baku congratulated the Azerbaijani people on Independence Day.

"The EU Delegation congratulates the Azerbaijani people on Independence Day! The EU highly values its partnership with Azerbaijan, which aims to strengthen stability, prosperity, and mutual cooperation, as well as to address the challenges we face for the well-being of our citizens. The upcoming COP29, hosted by Azerbaijan in Baku, provides an excellent opportunity for cooperation in climate action and the 'green transition.' We wish peace, prosperity, and progress to Azerbaijan and its people," the message stated.
