Erdogan congratulated the Azerbaijani people

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Azerbaijan on Independence Day.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish leader made this statement in an official post on his social media account.

"I congratulate Azerbaijan on the Independence Day of May 28, a nation with whom we share the spirit of 'one nation, two states,' and I wholeheartedly share the rightful pride and joy of all our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters. I commemorate with respect and mercy our heroes who sacrificed their lives for independence," the post emphasized.
