Iran does not accept the change of regional borders

The Iranian side supports the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, but does not accept the change of regional borders.

Axar.az reports that Ali Bagheri Kani, acting as Iran's foreign minister, said this while answering a question about the Zangezur corridor in an interview with "CNN Turk" TV channel.

"The Iranian side supports all initiatives that will help the development of the region, especially the normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan. However, Tehran is against any project and initiative that would change the demographics and borders of the region," said Kani.
