Azerbaijan's bilateral relations with both Turkiye and Pakistan are based on the brotherhood, historical and cultural ties of our peoples, mutual respect and trust. Based on such solid foundations, our interstate relations are characterized by continuous and comprehensive development, close cooperation in various fields, joint action and support at the international level on issues of mutual interest.
Axar.az reports that Aykhan Hajizadeh, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed these views in response to a question from the local media.
"So far, a number of tripartite meetings, events and trainings have been held at the level of parliament speakers, foreign ministers, and defense ministries of the three countries, agreements on important issues have been reached and cooperation has expanded further. It should be emphasized that these three-way cooperation platforms, which are exemplary in nature, are guided by the norms and principles of international law and promote only peace, security, stability and progress," said the press secretary.
A. Hajizade pointed out that this meeting held at the level of leaders in Astana will promote the rise of relations between the three countries to a new level, the strengthening and regular organization of the tripartite cooperation platform under the leadership of the leaders, and the expansion of the strategic partnership relations of Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkiye in new directions.
