The Organization of Turkic States should become one of the world's power centers.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said these words during the speech of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States (OST) at the informal summit meeting held in Shusha on July 6.

"We cover a large geographical area, positive demographic dynamics are observed in the member countries, our military potential has repeatedly shown itself on the battlefields. Our rich natural resources, modern infrastructure for their transportation, transport corridors connecting Central Asia, the Caucasus with Mediterranean and Black Sea ports, rich and our ancient history and culture are our great wealth. The fact that our people have the same ethnic roots unites our countries. The 21st century should be the century of development of the Turkish world," the head of state said.
