President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the national monument in Islamabad on July 11.

Axar.az reports that an honor guard was lined up in honor of President Ilham Aliyev on the square where the national flags of Azerbaijan and Pakistan were flying.

The head of state laid a wreath in front of the national monument.

Then "Fatiha" surah was recited.

It should be noted that the construction of this monument, which embodies the national unity of the Pakistani people, was started in 2004. The monument, created in the rich Mughal architectural style, was inaugurated on May 23, 2007.
