The meeting of the Security Council of Turkiye is a preparation for the meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar Assad.

Axar.az reports that Russian political scientist Sergey Markov said these words.

According to him, the conditions for the meeting of the two leaders are currently being discussed:

"The main reasons for the reconciliation may be: First, Turks are tired of millions of Syrian refugees and their presence lowers Erdogan's popularity. Second, Assad won the civil war with the help of Russia and Iran and firmly held power. Thirdly, the Americans are creating too many problems for Turkiye by supporting the Syrian Kurds.
