The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian was invited to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan in November of this year.

Axar.az reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov conveyed the greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his congratulations on the start of his presidential powers during his meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on July 31.

The Prime Minister presented the invitation letter of President Ilham Aliyev to President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding the participation in COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan in November of this year.
