After the death of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, the family members spoke.
Axar.az reports that they shared about this on their social network accounts.
Abdel Salam Haniyeh, the son of the leader of Hamas, expressed his pride in his father.
“My father survived four assassination attempts during his patrotric journey, and today Allah has granted him the martyrdom that he always wished for. He was very keen to establish national unity and strived for the unity of all Palestinian factions and we affirm that this assassination will not deter the resistance, which will fight until freedom is achieved." Abdel Salam Haniyeh emphasized.
Haniyeh's daughter-in-law also expressed her condolences:
"With hearts satisfied with God’s judgment and destiny. I mourn a man whose name fills up the Earth and sky upon being mentioned. A well-known man. I mourn my father-in-law, my beloved and my father, the crown of my head and the apple of my eye, father-in-law, Abu Abed Haniyeh, as he joins the martyrs, the honest and the blessed. As he joins his sons with blessed blood. The heroic martyr, the great leader. We will only say what pleases God. Our eyes are tearful, the heart is sad for your separation, Abu Abed, our father, we are sad. We belong to God and to Him we will return. May god reward us in our misfortune and grant us better situations. May God reward us in our misfortune and grant us better situations. The pain is great. But our relief is that this life is mortal and if God wills we will meet you in a paradise as big as the sky and Earth. Goodbye to the leader of the nation."
It should be noted that Ismail Haniyeh himself showed the same attitude when he received the news that his family members (3 sons and 3 grandchildren) were killed in an Israeli attack when he was in Doha, the capital of Qatar:
"We sacrificed about 60 martyrs from our family to this blessed struggle. About 60 individual martyrs of my family became martyrs. There is no difference between them and all the martyrs of the Palestinian people," he said.
It should be recalled that Ismail Haniyeh was killed as a result of a rocket attack on his residence in Tehran after he attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected president of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
