President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived on a business trip to Rome on September 4 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella.

Axar.az reports that an honor guard was lined up at the Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino airport in honor of the head of our state.

Italian officials welcomed President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
