Russia warns of retaliation for U.S. actions

Washington must understand that every step it takes against Russia and its media will receive a response.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We read everything they accept correctly. They should have no doubt that there will be retaliatory measures,” Zakharova said.

It should be noted that last week, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced sanctions against Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of RT, and her two deputies.
