Bayramov spoke with the new MFA of Ukraine

On September 10, 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrey Sibiga.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released information about this.

During the telephone conversation, the current cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as regional and international security issues, were discussed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov heartily congratulated his colleague on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and wished him success in his work.

It was stated that mutual respect and support between the two countries, as well as cooperation based on the norms and principles of international law, is a source of satisfaction.

Minister Andrey Sibiga thanked for the congratulations and expressed his hope for further strengthening of the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

The humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan in relation to the security situation around Ukraine, especially the support provided to the restoration and reconstruction of the infrastructure in the city of Irpen, as well as the demining activity, was gratefully remembered.

During the telephone conversation, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
