Britain's Foreign Secretary David Lammy has expressed a fair position regarding Azerbaijan in a foreign policy bulletin published on the Substack platform. He noted that Azerbaijan has been able to liberate territories it lost in the early 1990s.

Axar.az reports that Armenian political analyst Suren Surenyants described this as one of the rare instances where the West's stance on Karabakh is candidly expressed. He argued that this does not mean the West is against Armenians, stating, "The problem lies in the West's interests aimed at diminishing Russia's influence in the region."

Surenyants pointed out that the official Yerevan has not reacted to Lammy's statement, saying, "But imagine the uproar in famous circles of Armenia if Lavrov had made such remarks."
