Azerbaijan establishes normalization agenda with Armenia

Azerbaijan has laid the foundation for a normalization agenda with Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during his speech at the "Summit of the Future" held at the UN headquarters as part of the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

"Azerbaijan has established the basis for a normalization agenda with Armenia based on the mutual recognition and respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the post-conflict period," emphasized C. Bayramov.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan has entered a new era by restoring its rights, such as sovereignty and territorial integrity protected by the UN Charter: "We call for urgent steps to remove the remaining obstacles, based on the progress achieved through bilateral negotiations, and emphasize the importance of demonstrating the necessary political will and responsibility."
