Mexico's newly inaugurated President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo thanked Azerbaijan for its support.

Axar.az reports that she shared a video on social media showing her meeting with Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and officials from other countries.

The president expressed gratitude to representatives from 105 countries, including Azerbaijan.

“Our foreign policy will adhere to principles such as the right of peoples to self-determination through constitutional means, non-interference in internal affairs, peaceful resolution of disputes, development, and international cooperation for the sake of brotherhood among the world's nations,” Sheinbaum Pardo noted in her post.

It is worth mentioning that Claudia Sheinbaum officially began her duties as President of Mexico on October 1. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the San Lázaro Legislative Palace, where sessions of Mexico's bicameral Congress are held.
