Armenia has engaged in dangerous games; let the history of the Second Karabakh War not be forgotten. They should not forget how they pleaded for help from us, how they appealed to Russia perhaps ten times a day at the highest levels to stop the war.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during a meeting with residents in Jabrayil on October 4.

The head of state also emphasized:

'Let them not forget the anti-terror operation. They should not forget that we were able to achieve our goals in that geography. Regardless of anyone or anything, we eradicated separatism in just a few hours.'
