Azerbaijan honors Turkiye on Republic Day

Turkiye, a cradle of justice and development in the region and the world, will forever cherish the unique brotherhood with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a post by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its X account in connection with October 29, Turkiye's Republic Day.

"On October 29, we celebrate the 101st anniversary of the establishment of our allied Republic of Turkiye. On this significant day, we commemorate the great Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkiye, as well as our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the creation of the Republic and our veterans who gave up their health," the post stated.

Additionally, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Turkiye: "On this precious day, we respectfully remember the founders, martyrs, and veterans of our brother country, wishing for the continued strengthening and development of the Republic of Turkiye."
