President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Axar.az presents the text of the letter:
Dear Mr. President,
My Dear Brother,
I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to the brotherly people of Turkiye on the occasion of October 29 – Republic Day.
I would like to proudly note that the Republic of Turkiye has entered the second century of its history as a powerful, advanced, and stable country in every aspect—politically, economically, and militarily—gaining high prestige and trust in the international arena and having a voice in global matters. All these remarkable achievements have been made possible under your visionary and wise leadership.
The successes of powerful Turkiye, which has become a center of power in the world, inspire and delight us just as much as our own achievements do. Today, we take great pride in the fact that Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations are at their highest peak and that our unbreakable brotherhood thrives. Our exceptional inter-state relations, which form the backbone of regional cooperation, contribute significantly to development, peace, and security in the region, while also playing an important role for all of Eurasia.
I believe that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, rooted in our shared history, rich national and spiritual values, and the brotherhood and unity of our peoples, will continue to deepen and strengthen through our joint efforts in line with the principle of "One nation, two states."
On this remarkable day, I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your esteemed state activities, as well as peace, prosperity, and well-being to the brotherly Republic of Turkiye and its people.
