Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov has supported the idea of changing the national anthem proposed by Parliament Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiyev.

Axar.az reports that the Kyrgyz president made this statement in an interview with the "Kabar" state news agency.

He noted that the current anthem of the republic was adopted 33 years ago and that Kyrgyzstan has fully formed as a state since then.
