The President of Iraq, condolence to Ilham Aliyev

Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid sent a letter of condolence to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the letter says:

"His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

We received the news of the crash of the passenger plane of "Azerbaijan Airlines" on the territory of Kazakhstan with deep sadness.

I offer my deepest condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives as a result of this tragic event, and to the entire people of Azerbaijan. I ask God to grant mercy to the deceased and patience to their families."
