Turkiye-Azerbaijan mutual investments grow

Turkish companies invested 16 billion US dollars in Azerbaijan, and 20 billion US dollars from Azerbaijan to Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference held in Baku on January 18 with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

The head of MFA emphasized that more than 4,000 Turkish companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan.

"We are currently working on new projects. Work is underway to increase the export volume of Azerbaijani gas to Turkiye and Europe. We assume that the export geography of our gas will expand in the coming years."
