Middle Corridor crucial for regional development

Looking at the global scenario and processes, the potential role of the Middle Corridor becomes particularly evident. If we – both Azerbaijan and Georgia – position ourselves correctly, we can undoubtedly play a decisive role in the development of the Middle Corridor. For this, the existing partnership between the two countries is crucial.

Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by Georgia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Maka Bochorishvili.

She noted that the friendship established between the two countries over the years has only contributed to this process:

"Since the restoration of our independence, cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan has been primarily focused on implementing regional projects. Today, we clearly see the benefits and advantages of this.

Today, there is even greater potential and opportunities not only to develop our countries but also our region. Therefore, it is especially important to coordinate activities and strengthen cooperation between the two countries. We must make proper use of the opportunities provided by the current geopolitical situation and the geographic location of our region."
