The South Caucasus was also discussed during a meeting between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Munich yesterday.
Axar.az, this was revealed in Rubio’s post on the social media platform X.
"Today in Munich, I met with Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. We discussed the many shared interests and objectives of our countries, as well as the evolving situation in Syria within the framework of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS. Additionally, we talked about strengthening U.S.-Turkiye relations to address security threats, including those in the South Caucasus and the Russia-Ukraine conflict," he wrote.
It is worth noting that previous reports had only mentioned that Fidan and Rubio discussed Syria and Gaza.
